August 11, 2022Vanessa is Sweating with Pride this June
I've committed to exercising for at least 21 minutes EVERY DAY this June to raise money to support Rainbow Kiwis That’s the minimum amount of activity we need for happy and healthy bodies and minds. It sounds easy, but currently 50% of Kiwis aren’t meeting this goal.We get it – between sitting behind a desk all day, getting stuck in traffic for hours and binge-watching the latest season of Drag Race – it’s hard to find the time!Sweat with pride can help. We’re challenging Kiwis to sw...

Recently I have had many experiences with women who have either fought breast cancer and won or are undergoing the fight with chemo and surgical measures. They all inspired me so much because of their resilience and determination to keep living even whe...

November 21, 2016Art Exhibition - Ammon Matthews
On the evening of Friday the 5th of June, we had the most magical evening to showcase the work of Ammon Matthews. This is his first real dive in to the art world outside his home, and we are all very proud of his accomplishments! Ammon participated with graphite on paper, and support worker Tim Folkema assisted with photography, slides and poetry. Everyone had fun challenging themselves to the origami on the tables. This video was shot by Ammon on his phone, as a memento ...
